"Chicken Nuggets" (All Grown Up)
Zippy taste and an excellent source of protein, this twist on the traditional nuggets will become your new EASY dinner! Toss them on a green salad and VOILA, it's dinner! They are also great as lunchtime leftovers!
- 1 pound chicken breast cut in bite-sized pieces
- 1 egg plus 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon each Italian Seasoning, paprika, salt, garlic powder, chili powder, crushed red pepper
Dip chicken breast pieces in egg "wash". Combine almond flour with spices in large bowl. Dredge chicken pieces in almond flour mix. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Serve with tomato sauce or over green salad.
